Array is the best option for easily creating beautiful forms for quick information capture, but did you know we also offer several integrations that allow you to share that data with the apps you’re already using? This article explains how to get started using Array’s integrations.
Basically, an integration is a connection between two apps that allows them to share information with each other. This saves you time by eliminating the need to continuously switch from one app to the other. With app integrations, you can use Array for collecting data and send that information to your favorite apps for later reference or manipulation.
Before Array can communicate with another app, though, you’ll first need to give us permission to access its information. There are three ways to do this.
Forms with integrations function just like any other form created in Array, except information entered into fields for an integration will also be shared with that app. In other words, if someone were to complete the form described above, then information about new company contacts would also be added to their Zendesk Sell account.
Not only can Array’s integrations send data to third-party apps, but they can also retrieve information by using our Data Search feature. This allows users to auto-fill forms with information based on the contents of the integrated app. For an in-depth explanation of two-way sync, read our article on data search.
